CoinShares to Go Public in U.S. via $1.2B SPAC Merger
CoinShares, a prominent European digital asset investment firm, is poised to enter the U.S. public markets through a $1.2 billion SPAC merger with Vine Hill Capital and Odysseus Holdings. The deal, expected to close by December 2025, will transition CoinShares' listing to a U.S. exchange, granting existing shareholders up to 91.6% ownership in the combined entity.
The strategic move includes a $50 million private placement, underscoring CoinShares' ambition to tap into the deeper liquidity and institutional investor base of the U.S. market. This pivot reflects growing institutional demand for regulated crypto investment vehicles amid accelerating mainstream adoption.
